AWESOME WATER COOLER REPAIR MANUAL

The manual intends to provide as much information as possible regarding the machine’s operation to franchisees. Because repair issues vary, we’ll detail the device and technical matters from top to bottom, front to rear. We’ll describe opening the machine first.

OPENING THE MACHINE

  1. Pull the plug and turn off the power.
  2. Fill the machine with water until the water level is below the spindle using the taps.
  3. Unscrew the top two screws from the back of the hood, lift, twist, and take the hood off the machine. Then, hang it behind it.
  4. When reinstalling the hood later, double-check the port connections because unattached port leads will result in an ER warning on display.
  5. After removing four screws from the front panel (two behind the drip tray), remove the cable tie from the hot pipe and roll or pull the tube out.
  6. Swing the front panel out of the way by swiping it around.
  7. If you like, you may also turn off the heat and move the front panel out of the way.

WATER COOLER PROBLEMS AND REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS

LEAKING PROBLEM – Possible Float Valve Issue

The float valve spike rises, stopping the flow of water into the cooler’s reservoir. The majority of float valve failures are due to the customer’s inability to maintain the equipment, resulting in an accumulation of filth that causes the float valve to jam and fail over time. The nylon spike may change shape, so double-check. In either case, the water level grows to the point where it has nowhere else to go. It begins to flow out of the machine, causing water damage to the mainboard or wiring.

Most of the time, you can fix this over the phone. But if you’re on-site, you should clean the float valve with HOT water and a clean cloth. Re-tighten the valve and check that it functions properly. If the overflow continues, check the float valve. Check if the washer that separates the valve from the bottle is also fastened. Replace the float valve if the water is still cloudy.

LEAKING PROBLEM – Bottle Issue

A missing or misplaced O-ring washer might cause water to seep between the bottle’s top area and the white wall. Water can become stuck and pass through the two air holes, allowing tap water to mix with filtered water. To solve the problem, make sure the nylon washer is properly positioned over the hole so that water does not seep through the cracks.

RUBBER SEAL PROBLEM

The filter’s rubber circular band, which when tightly screwed in, seals the filter to the white partition, can cause seepage. With age or temperature changes, the rubber seal might distort. There will be a gap between the filter and the white section as a result of this. Water could leak down the filter’s side, contaminating the purified water with tap water. The filter may detach and fall from the screw in section in some situations. It could be because the screw-in area of the white partition has warped due to time or heat.

If this is the case, the partition, not the rubber seal, needs replacement.

GREEN COLOR

Lack of cleaning, carelessness, and, in particular, sunshine cause many filters and bottlers to turn green. An old filter, like a filthy bottle, is more susceptible to contamination than a clean container, although green is only achievable with light or reflected light. To correct or prevent this issue, you should keep the bottle out of direct or indirect sunlight.

Kitchen sinks and gleaming refrigerators can reflect light shafts. If the consumer cleans the bottle once a month, the filth will be difficult to accumulate at the bottom of the container. Bottle covers for coolers might be useful. Awesome water filters don’t have a policy regarding coverings, but they do provide them. These are a supplement rather than a sure remedy.

E1 COLD READER CHANGE AND MACHINE BEEPING

BT machines work best when set to at least 6 degrees and have been known to freeze up when set to 4 or 5 degrees. Unless the temperature is above 10 degrees, please put it to 8 degrees and run it for 24 hours to test. In many cases, this resolves the issue, and you can return to it when the filter is changed again. In some circumstances, you’ll have to swap out the cold reader.

LED SCREEN PROBLEM

The problem is a burnt-out diode on the mainboard. If you turn the power on and off and hear an activation beep, no lights come on. If there is no activation sound when you turn the power on and off, the problem is likely a blown a fuse on the mainboard, which you may repair.

Solution: Replacing the mainboard is simple.

CHILD LOCK ISSUES

The kid lock is a single piece that includes the two hot and cold levers and the hot disabling child lock.

Lock Stiff or Brocken:

The child lock’s slider knob can be jarring or tight. If physical pushing doesn’t work, remove the child lock part described above and replace it with a new section.

On taps, the rear of the plastic lever may not be attached to the internal tap lever that rises and releases water if the lever is loose or limp. Elevate the dislodged lever and position it on the corresponding kid lock section lever’s rear extension. Check for a tired or broken rear extension, which could be caused by the tap rubbing on the foam.

The hot or cold levers can become locked or twisted, blocking the smooth transition from leverage to water flow. Not to be confused with a broken spring or a lever that has come loose from the black internal lever. A pencil-like device jarred into the exposed top section of the cold or hot lever may be able to pry it out if it has stayed at 45 degrees. Food stains, coffee stains, and general carelessness, as well as hard use, can cause the lever to stick.

If all else fails to loosen the lever, open the machine and inspect the inside, replacing the entire child lock portion if necessary.

TAP PROBLEMS

There’s no water flowing out of the taps.

Lift the bottle first, as it may cause an air seal. Check the tap for obstructions. But the most common cause is that the machine has frozen over. It causes the ice to restrict the flow, or all of the available water will become ice. See the LED section under “machine beeping” for a solution.

Water tastes like plastic.

Most of the new plastic flavor should be gone after properly soaking and flushing new equipment. When putting up a water cooler for the first time, some drivers like to put a couple of cups of vinegar in the reservoir. The bi-carb residue and plastic taste appear to be fully gone after this. The water could be contaminated and influence the taste if you neglect the unit and the filter change is overdue. You can resolve all taste problems by cleaning, changing filters, or flushing. It may require full sterilization in severe cases for older neglected machinery; contact the office for assistance.

Dripping faucet.

The tap may drip continuously, eventually filling the drip tray and spilling out. The only way solution is to replace the faucet. If hot water is flowing from a cold tap, make sure the power is on and functional. If the water heater is turned on but not utilized, it can pressure the one-way valve. It may cause hot water to flow back into the cold reservoir or steam escape through the reservoir’s side hole.

A) Steam venting via the vent hole into the reservoir.

If the water level is higher than the vent hole, this is typically a problem. If this is the case, you should replace the bottle’s float valve.

B) Replace a damaged, non-return valve.

C) Drain the hot tank using the rear draining plug and turn the machine on.

D) Cut the cable ties that are attached to the valve.

E) Replace – make sure to install in the same way as before (small end at the bottom)
