Two-stage Filtration Process
The Water Shop Ceramic Twin Countertop system is one of our most popular systems for residential filtration with it’s effective two-stage filtration process within a neat and compact design.
Stage 1 – Doulton Sterasyl® Ceramic 0.9 micron absolute Pre-filter
The outer shell – manufactured with Doulton Sterasyl® ceramic – mechanically filters out harmful bacteria and parasites to sub-micron filtration. This stage reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity. Silver, incorporated within this ceramic structure provides enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilising properties.
Stage 2 – Carbon block 1 micron Post filter
The second stage features a premium 1 micron carbon block filter, manufactured in the USA. The 1 micron carbon block filter effectively removes all chlorine, chemicals, pesticides, unpleasant tastes and odour along with harmful heavy metals. Made from premium coconut-shell carbon, fresher, sweeter tasting water is ensured.
