Shipping and Delivery Policy

Awesome Water Filters can ship to virtually any address in mainland Australia inc. Tasmania, unfortunately, outlying islands off the mainland may incur extra charges. 

 Note that there are restrictions on some products. Our free shipping offer delivers to most areas right around Australia but for some regional areas the transport companies may note transport company for delivery to your door may incur extra charges. 

When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and as a general rule, we make every effort to have all orders delivered within 2-7 working days from date of the order depending on your location within Australia and the product purchased. 

Home Deliveries For the convenience and security of our customers:

  • No Signature Required: All home deliveries are completed without the need for a signature, unless otherwise specified by the customer.

  • Special Instructions: If you have specific delivery preferences or require a signature upon delivery, please ensure you provide these instructions during the checkout process. There will be a designated notes section on the cart page for this purpose. We will do our best to accommodate all such requests.

Additional shipping charges apply to some items of unusual size or weight. If the surcharge applies to your order, you'll see the charge appear on the drop-down menu of a product page or in the checkout page. If you're unable to see the freight quote after you placed the order, we'll contact you for additional surcharge that quoted by our courier if applicable.

Freight is calculated per order, depending on the destination and items being shipped. Our website provides free shipping for metro areas however outside this we request a quote upon receiving an order. Freight is determined by a complex matrix of what the product is, the destination, and ultimately which carrier we will use to arrange the shipping. Essentially freight costs are driven by the cubic size and or weight, the destination, and the level of service demanded either by the customer or by the product itself (in the case of large, fragile, and heavy weighted items). 

If the item cannot be delivered to the address or our courier provided a freight quote, but you still place the order with us, we will contact you through email with the extra shipping fee after the order is paid. You will need to pay the extra fee to get the order delivered. Those orders with no shipment service or decline to pay for the extra shipping, will be canceled and refunded automatically with email notification.

Change of mind request procedure

We offer a 30 day no questions asked correct purchase warranty where if you are not impressed with our awesome water filtration system we will refund the whole purchase price to you less return shipping costs. 

If the 30-day no-questions-asked return period has passed, please contact us via sales@awesomewaterfilters.com.au or use the chat feature on our website. To proceed, kindly provide clear photographs or a video showcasing the product's condition, along with a brief explanation of the reason for the return. We will carefully review your request, and any refunds or exchanges will be assessed based on our return policy beyond the 30-day period.

  • Customer Responsibility: If the return is due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for arranging the return shipment.
  • If a return address is provided: We will issue a refund for the item price, less the shipping fee.
  • If no return address is provided: A refund will still be processed, with the shipping fee deducted from the item price.
  • For items returned to sender (RTS): If the return is requested before the item is delivered and an RTS is initiated, a refund will be issued after the item is returned to our or our supplier's facility, minus the shipping fee.
Returns for Defective, Incorrect, or Faulty Products: We will take full responsibility for defective, incorrect, or faulty items and cover all return shipping costs. Please contact us with supporting photos or videos, and we will assist you through the return or replacement process.
 

Waterworks Water Coolers Warranty

We offer an unlimited 2 year warranty on our compressor only.

We offer a 12 month warranty on all parts of our Awesome Water Coolers & Purifiers only.

36 month comprehensive warranty on bottle top & POU coolers and IC8 chiller from date of purchase from Awesome Water Filters.

As retailers, most transactions with us may not be covered by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). For these transactions, all goods are warranted to the level provided by Waterworks Australia, for the relevant period commencing from the date of original sale to the dealer. Under these circumstances, any product returns (for warranty purposes or otherwise) will be made at the our expense and only with the prior knowledge and authorization of Waterworks Australia.

Under the ACL, consumers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. They are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The guarantees, rights, and remedies provided under the ACL are not always clearly defined. The ACL recognizes that both the remedy and the relevant time period for which a remedy may be available can vary significantly, depending on factors such as industry standards, the nature of the product, its price, and the “reasonable expectations”. Waterworks Australia adopts the same approach.
