Your Maintenance Routine at a Glance

Filter Cartridge Replacement

This is the most important task. Replace your 8-stage KDF cartridge every 6–12 months. Don’t wait for taste or flow changes — an exhausted filter provides no protection and can harbour bacteria. Browse our replacement cartridge range.

Reservoir Sanitisation

Every 3–6 months, sanitise the reservoir with a diluted bleach solution (1 tablespoon per 4 litres of water). Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. See the full step-by-step guide: How to Clean a Water Cooler.

Tap Spouts and Drip Tray

Wipe the tap spouts weekly with a damp cloth — mineral deposits and bacteria can build up around the openings. Empty and clean the drip tray weekly to prevent overflow and mould growth.

Check for Leaks

A monthly visual check takes 30 seconds. Look for water around the base of the unit, around tap fittings, and under the drip tray. A small leak caught early is a minor fix; ignored, it can cause floor damage or indicate an internal seal issue. Call us on 1800 789 781 if you spot anything unusual.
