The fluoride reduction dome replaces the standard ceramic dome in the upper chamber of your gravity water purifier or cooler. Water passes through the dome first, where it contacts the fluoride-reduction media, before flowing into the 8-stage filter cartridge below for further treatment.

This dome works as part of the complete gravity filtration system — it is not a standalone fluoride removal device. The level of fluoride reduction depends on your source water, water contact time through the dome, and the current age and condition of the dome media.

Replacement Schedule

Replace every 6–12 months, or sooner if flow rate slows significantly or you notice a change in water taste or quality. Unlike the standard ceramic dome, the fluoride reduction dome should not be cleaned by scrubbing — scrubbing can remove or disrupt the fluoride-reduction media on the surface. Rinse gently if needed; replace rather than clean when performance declines.
