Installation and Maintenance
How to Install (DIY):
- Remove Aerator: Unscrew the aerator (the little mesh tip) from your existing kitchen tap.
- Check Thread: If you have a 23mm male thread, the diverter screws directly on. If you have a 20mm female thread, use the included thread converter first.
- Attach Diverter: Screw the diverter valve provided with the system onto your tap.
- Enjoy: Simply turn the diverter lever to send water through the filter!
Maintenance: For optimal purity and taste, replace your internal filter cartridge every 6–12 months or after 9,500 liters (heavily dependent on your local water turbidity and household usage). Tip: Install the housing out of direct sunlight to prevent algae growth.
