Installation & Maintenance
Installation
- Turn off the water supply and release pressure by opening a downstream tap.
- Unscrew the filter housing and remove the old cartridge.
- Rinse the housing, then insert the new cartridge over the centre post.
- Re-seat the housing seal, hand-tighten the housing, and slowly turn the water back on.
- Check for leaks and let it run for a couple of minutes to flush.
Maintenance
- When flow drops, remove and rinse the pleats under running water to clear trapped sediment.
- Replace once washing no longer restores flow, or per your system's schedule.
- Inspect housing O-rings at each change and keep spares on hand.
