Replacement filter cartridges for Awesome Water Filters plumbed-in benchtop and countertop water filter systems. These standard 10" × 2.5" two-stage cartridges — a polyspun sediment filter paired with a speciality carbon block — are designed to maintain flow rate and filtration performance in Single, Twin, and Triple benchtop filter housings.
Select your cartridge combination from the dropdown menu above. Seven options are available, from basic sediment and carbon to speciality blocks designed to help reduce heavy metals, fluoride, or chloramine.
| Variant | Best Suited For | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 5µm Sediment + 5µm Carbon | Good-quality mains water; basic chlorine taste and odour improvement; high flow rate | $50 |
| 1µm Sediment + 5µm Carbon | Mains water with moderate sediment; finer particle capture with good flow | $54 |
| 1µm Sediment + 0.5µm Carbon | Improved sediment and particulate reduction; suitable for most Australian mains water | $66 |
| 0.5µm Sediment + 0.5µm Carbon | Finer two-stage filtration; mains water with higher turbidity or sediment | $68 |
| 0.5µm Sediment + 0.5µm Metals | Water supplies where heavy metal reduction is a priority [NEEDS VERIFICATION: confirm specific metals targeted and reduction data] | $84 |
| 0.5µm Sediment + 0.5µm Fluoride | Water supplies where fluoride reduction is a priority [NEEDS VERIFICATION: confirm fluoride reduction percentage from test data] | $93 |
| 0.5µm Sediment + 0.5µm Chloramine | Water treated with chloramine rather than chlorine — common in some Australian metropolitan areas | $93 |

Each pack includes one polyspun sediment cartridge and one speciality carbon block cartridge. The sediment stage is designed to help capture particles, dirt, rust, and sediment before water passes through the carbon block stage, which is designed to help reduce chlorine taste and odour, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and — depending on the variant selected — heavy metals, fluoride, or chloramine.
Both cartridges measure approximately 10" × 2.5" (25cm × 7cm) and fit standard 10" × 2.5" filter housings.
Filter performance depends on source water quality, flow rate, filter age, and maintenance. See product documentation for verified contaminant reduction data.
These cartridges are designed for use with the following Awesome Water Filters plumbed-in countertop systems:
These cartridges fit any standard 10" × 2.5" filter housing. They are not compatible with the gravity-fed Awesome Water benchtop purifiers — those use the 8-Stage KDF Gravity Filter Cartridge.

Replace both cartridges every 6–12 months depending on your source water quality, household usage, and water pressure. Replace sooner if you notice reduced flow rate or a change in taste or odour. Always flush new cartridges with 2–3 litres of water before drinking.
These cartridges fit standard plumbed-in countertop and benchtop filter housings. Turn off the mains water supply before changing cartridges. Depressurise the housing using the pressure release button, then swap the old cartridges for the new ones and retighten the housing. Flush before use.
If you are installing a new filter housing for the first time, contact a licensed plumber to confirm your installation meets local plumbing requirements.
Available for delivery Australia-wide. Cartridges are lightweight and packaged securely. Remote area surcharges may apply at checkout.

The sediment (polyspun) cartridge physically captures particles, rust, and dirt. The carbon block cartridge is designed to help reduce chlorine taste, odour, and other chemical compounds. Together they form a two-stage filtration system.
A lower micron rating captures finer particles but may reduce water flow rate. For most Australian mains water, 0.5µm or 1µm sediment paired with a 0.5µm carbon block provides good filtration performance. If flow rate is a concern, a 5µm option offers higher throughput.
No — these are for plumbed-in countertop filter housings only. If you have a gravity-fed Awesome Water benchtop purifier (the large bottle-style unit), you need the 8-Stage KDF Gravity Filter Cartridge.

Compliance note for Lee: The current description displays NSF, WaterMark, Water Quality, and Made-in-UK certification logos. Please verify: (1) which specific cartridge variants hold NSF certification (NSF 42 and/or NSF 53), (2) whether WaterMark applies to the housing or the cartridges themselves, (3) country of manufacture — vendor is listed as Awesome Water (Australia) Pty Ltd, not a UK manufacturer. Remove any logos that cannot be verified for the specific cartridges sold.
