Maintenance and Cleaning Guide

One of the biggest benefits of the Ceramic Filter is that it is completely washable. If your water flow starts to slow down, don't throw it away! It simply means the ceramic outer shell is doing its job and catching sediment.

Unscrew the stainless steel housing and remove the cartridge.
Scrub the white ceramic surface lightly under cold running water using the included scourer (or a clean Scotch Brite pad/soft brush).
Important: Do not use soap or harsh detergents!
Re-install the cartridge to instantly restore your water flow.

Note on Operation: Because the diverter valve taps into the water line before the filter, the water is pushed through a very dense ceramic block. After you turn the tap off, you may notice water continuing to trickle for a few moments as the internal pressure drains out. This is perfectly normal and ensures no stale water is left sitting inside the filter!
