How the 7 Stages Work

Water passes through seven layers, each doing a different job:

• 1. Sediment filter: catches rust, dust, and visible particles
• 2. Activated carbon (GAC): reduces chlorine, organic chemicals, and odours
• 3. Carbon block: removes any remaining chlorine and organic compounds
• 4. Activated alumina: reduces fluoride. Results vary with your water and contact time.
• 5. KDF media: a copper-zinc media that helps reduce heavy metals and stop bacteria growth
• 6. Mineral media: adds trace minerals for alkaline-style water
• 7. Polishing stage: refines taste before water reaches your tank
