    What's the difference between the plastic dome and the ceramic dome?
    The plastic dome uses 5-micron felt pads and is ideal for standard town water with low sediment. The ceramic dome offers finer 0.5-micron filtration and is washable — better suited for higher-sediment water supplies.

    How often should I replace the felt pads?
    We recommend replacing the felt pads every 3–6 months depending on your water quality and usage. Replacement pads are available in our 6-Pack Felt Pads.
